Como se joga

  • Each question is worth up to 2 points. Your answer is locked once you submit it. The game does not tell you which questions you got right, but it shows your score and ranking at the end.
  • Each Hint costs 0.5 points, up to two per question.
  • “I’m lost” shows you the way to the place and can only be used once per question. If you use it, that question (answered correctly) scores 0.5 points, however many Hints you used.
  • The clock starts when you tap “Start now” and breaks ties on the leaderboard.
  • The full game rules are always on this page, below the game, at every stage of the game.

Regras do jogo

Scoring

  • The clues to find the place do not cost points.
  • Right answer with no help: 2 points.
  • With 1 Hint: 1.5 points. With 2 Hints: 1 point.
  • With “I’m lost”: a right answer scores 0.5 points, however many Hints you used.
  • Wrong answer or skipped question: 0 points.
  • Some questions have no Hints or “I’m lost”: they score 2 points if the answer is right.
  • If a question is temporarily unavailable, it will be marked as such. In that case it scores 2 points without a right answer, or another question replaces it automatically.

Answers

  • Capital letters, accents and punctuation do not count, and one wrong letter in a long word is also accepted. Exception: when the question asks you to write something exactly.
  • When the question asks you to write or copy something exactly, everything counts: capital letters, accents, punctuation and spaces.
  • Numbers must be exact.
  • You can answer in Portuguese or in English.
  • You can look back at the questions you have answered, without changing them.

Time and ranking

  • The game clock starts when you tap “Start now”.
  • The team with the most points wins. If there is a tie, the faster team wins.
  • The game is only valid until midnight (Lisbon time) on the day it was started. At midnight, answers are no longer accepted and the team keeps the score it has.
  • If you close the page, enter the same code to carry on where you left off.
  • The code to start the game is valid for 30 days after purchase.
